VCMR - Vintage Country Music Records

There are so many things that interest me and are worth collecting. Old Country & Western music, and also - even if some fans don't like it - the German 'Western-Schlager' are among them. The now nostalgic sound carriers (shellac, vinyl - 33 rpm, 45 rpm and 78 rpm and CDs) are especially worth collecting. These vintage treasures are presented here, accompanied by a few more informations about Country Music.

VCMR - Vintage Country Music Records does not see itself in competition with larger databases on sound recordings. We bring far less, but our illustrations are often better and our design is more affectionate.

We are not interested in postings about concerts, public performances or presentations of other modern music media.

The performers are named - if possible - in our index of artists. In the case of samplers this can unfortunately not always happen [VA = Various Artists].
